We are currently seeking an experienced:
DIETARY AIDE Full Time, Days
Job Description:
Provides assistance to the cook on duty by performing primarily non-cooking related duties and secondarily cooking related duties and assist in assuring sanitary, safe, and pleasant dietary conditions for patients and others served by the Dietary Department.
Follows planned menu and prepares food and beverages according to tested recipes and established procedures.
Provides food service to residents and assists in serving beverages and tray cart.
Washes, rinses, and sanitizes all dishes, silverware, etc.
Cleans, sanitizes, sweeps, and mops work areas.
Assist with duties of the Cook and Assistant Cook in preparation of meals, drinks, supplements, and snacks.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, and 18 years of age or older.
Ability to use supplies economically and use equipment without jeopardizing the safety of self, others, or equipment.
Demonstrate neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
Ability to read diet cards, speak English, and lift up to 30 pounds.
